How to remove water from my house after a flood?

1. Contact a local restoration company like SERVPRO of Bloomington/ Richfield. They will be onsite quickly to start assessing the situation. 

2. After initial walkthrough, begin extracting the water. Getting the water up is critical to prevent secondary damages. 

3. Begin placing drying equipment to dry the structure. Having the right amount of equipment is critical to make sure the drying process is done correctly. 

4. Monitor the drying process each day to determine when the structure is completely dry. We make sure to visit the site daily and record progress. 

5. Overall take pictures before, during and after for your records.
